At the end of May there will be changes to the Data Protection Regulations in the UK which will harmonise all legislation across the EU. Those of you who have signed up for our Bute Noir newsletter, know that we hold some of your personal information.
We have two forms – one is a contact form and the other is a newsletter form.
The information on the contact form is used for no other purpose than to communicate with you about your query. It is not added to our newsletter database.
The newsletter form DOES add you to our newsletter database.
That information is held online in a database at our email marketing supplier (currently Mailchimp). Their security conforms to international standards.
This online information is regarded as confidential and accessible only Alison Cross and Karen Latto.
Information is only used for direct mailing to members, and not for any other purpose. If you no longer want to be contacted by us, you will need to hit the ‘unsubscribe me’ button at the foot of any of our newsletters or complete ‘contact us’ form on this website and Alison Cross will manually remove your information.
Under no circumstances do we share your details with any other organisation. Your privacy is important to us. We’ll never pass your details on to any other party. Ever.
If you have any questions about how we handle your data, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
