Thomas Enger

Thomas Enger was born in Oslo in 1973. With a degree in sports, Thomas worked as a sports chief editor but always wanted to write fiction.

After having tried for 15 years, his first novel Burned was released by Norwegian publisher Gyldendal in February 2010 and was quickly sold to a number of countries including the UK and the US.

Burned was shortlisted for the eDunnit award for the best novel that was both published as a hard back and in e-book format in 2011. His second novel Pierced was published a year later and was shortlisted for the prestigious Riverton Award in Norway. Scarred was then released in 2013 followed by Cursed then Killed.

Thomas’ latest novel Inborn was released this year. Movie rights for all books in the Henning Juul series have been sold to the Norwegian production company Cinenord.
